Work. We all do it. Some of us love it, some of us hate it. When I found my love for reading, writing, editing, and anything else English related I knew it was what I wanted to major in in college. Cause I knew that if my job was doing something I loved, it wouldn’t feel like work. My freshman year of college I had a part time job on campus that paid minimum wage. It wasn’t much… but it put the money I needed in the bank. Now… I don’t have a job at all, and although I complained some about the pay, I find myself missing that job (Not just for the pay though. My coworkers were phenomenal). Does the phrase if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life reign true? I don’t know… I sure hope so. I guess I’ll find out one day. One thing I do know is that I can’t wait to start working with my English degree. To be able to work with my writing is something that I’ve always wanted to do. I’m excited to see where God takes my career.
